Peter Frederick

Peter Frederick is a former National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) All-American athlete and National Track and Field champion for Trinidad and Tobago.

He has competed in the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championships, Pan American (Pan Am) Games, World Athletics Indoor Championships in Lisbon, Portugal and the Commonwealth Games. He placed 1st in the 200m and 2nd in the 400m at the Trinidad National Championships, qualifying for the Olympics - but missed representing Trinidad and Tobago in 2002 due to a hamstring injury.

Coach Frederick holds his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Master of Science in Special Education from Cambridge College. His Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership is also from Cambridge College.

In addition to serving as Co-Head Coach of Runnahs Elite, Coach Frederick is also an Assistant Sprint Track Coach at Druid Hills High School.

His philosophy is centered around the development of the student athlete, and instilling the patience and discipline required to become scholars and champions.

Jamial Rolle

Jamial Rolle is a 2-time Olympian representing the Bahamas at the 2008 and 2016 Beijing and Rio de Janeiro Games respectively.

He is a former NCAA All-American athlete and collegiate record holder for the Missouri State University Men’s Indoor 200m, and Indoor and Outdoor 4x400m relay. He is a National record holder for the Bahamas Men 4x100m relay and has medaled 4 times at the CAC Championships, Commonwealth Games, NACAC U-25 Championships, PanAm Games and World Championships.

Jamial attained his Bachelors in Microbiology & Biotechnology from Missouri State University, and used his experience on and off the track to become a successful entrepreneur.

With no intent to coach, Jamial freely shared his knowledge with aspiring athletes; but as they improved tremendously and the demand for his expertise grew, he committed himself to coaching. His intimate knowledge of the sacrifice, commitment and determination required to be a world-class athlete gives him a unique perspective that the student athletes of Runnahs Elite Track and Field Club benefit from immensely.

Jamial’s distills his goal to use track as a vehicle to uplift and upgrade every aspect of his student’s lives through his advice — “Run your race on the field, in practice, off the field and in life.”
